Privacy notice

This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visit makosya.com or contact Makosya by e-mail, WhatsApp or Instagram. It is prepared under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors from the EU, in line with the GDPR.

In short

  • This site has no forms, accounts, payments or comments.
  • It uses no cookies and no advertising or analytics tools.
  • Fonts are served from this site; no requests are sent to Google or other third parties while you browse.

What data, why, and on what legal basis

1. When you visit the site

Data: IP address, browser and device information, date and time, requested page. These logs are created automatically by the hosting provider.

Purpose: operating and securing the site and preventing abuse.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-f; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Retention: limited to the hosting provider's technical log periods. Logs are not used to identify or profile you.

2. When you contact us

Data: name, e-mail, phone number, Instagram handle, the content of your message and any project details you share.

Purpose: replying to you, assessing collaboration and shoot requests, preparing quotes and carrying out the work.

Legal basis: steps prior to or performance of a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c; GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), legitimate interest, and legal obligations where work is carried out.

Retention: if no collaboration follows, correspondence is deleted within 1 year at the latest; otherwise kept for the periods required by law.

Recipients

Your data is never sold or shared for marketing. These providers are used to run the service:

  • Hosting: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Visit logs are therefore processed outside Türkiye.
  • E-mail: the e-mail infrastructure of the makovisioncreative.com domain (Google).
  • WhatsApp and Instagram: Meta Platforms, under Meta's own privacy policy.

Where a collaboration goes ahead, details needed for invoicing and production may be shared with Makovision Creative. Data may also be disclosed to authorities where required by law.

Cookies

makosya.com sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, which is why there is no cookie banner. Links to Instagram and WhatsApp take you to those platforms, where their own policies apply.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, learn who it was shared with, object to processing, and seek compensation for unlawful processing (KVKK art. 11; GDPR art. 15-21). Write to makosya@makovisioncreative.com; requests are answered free of charge within 30 days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, in the EU, to your local supervisory authority.
